Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA) issued the following statement after the Senate passage of the bipartisan Respect for Marriage Act

“Every human being has inherent dignity and it’s crucial that Congress guarantees the right for people to marry whoever they love. I’m proud to support protecting marriage equality rights for all — something that is far overdue.”

In June 2021, in celebration of Pride Month, Senator Warnock joined Georgia Equality for a virtual conversation to discuss issues that impact the LGBTQ+ community.
