“I join all Georgians in praying for the five injured soldiers, their families, and the entire Fort Stewart community after this tragic shooting. Georgia’s servicemembers represent the best among us, and their safety must continue to be a top priority,” said Senator Reverend Warnock.“I am grateful to the local and federal law enforcement and first-responders who acted to save lives, and my office stands ready to support Fort Stewart however we can to ensure they have the federal support needed to protect our servicemembers and base communities.”
